Designated Professor Kazuyuki Tatsumi of the RCMS (formerly Center Director) was elected as a Member of Executive Board of the International Council for Science (ICSU) at its 31st General Meeting held in Auckland, New Zealand.
The ISCU is a non-governmental, non-profit international academic organization established in 1931 with its secretariat in Paris. It is an assembly that brings together National Scientific Members, such as academies, representing each country and International Scientific Unions representing each field of study—It is an association which can be called the United Nations for scientists worldwide.
